Try SCUBA 1 Dive – Koh Lipe

Try Scuba – 1 Dive in Koh Lipe

Discover the underwater world of Koh Lipe and Tarutao National Marine Park with a half-day Try Scuba experience designed especially for first-time divers.

No previous scuba diving experience or certification is required. Under the close supervision of a certified SSI Instructor, you’ll learn the basics before heading underwater to explore Koh Lipe’s colourful coral reefs and tropical marine life.

Your First Scuba Dive

Before entering the water, your SSI Instructor will explain your scuba equipment, important safety information and the simple skills you’ll need during the dive.

You’ll then head out by boat for your Try Scuba dive, descending to a maximum depth of 12 metres while staying under the close supervision of your instructor.

Your instructor will help you with your equipment, buoyancy and movement underwater, allowing you to relax and enjoy your first scuba diving experience.

Small Groups & Personal Attention

We keep our Try Scuba groups small, normally with just 1–2 divers per instructor, giving you plenty of personal attention both above and below the water.

You don’t need to be a strong swimmer to join. Our experienced instructors provide close assistance throughout the experience and keep the dive relaxed and beginner-friendly.

Nervous About Your First Dive?

If you’re a non-swimmer, nervous about diving or would simply like some extra time to practise before heading out by boat, you can choose our Try Scuba + Beach Dive option.

This includes a confined session in shallow water where you can practise breathing underwater and basic scuba skills before completing your reef dive.

Our 1-dive Try Scuba experience in Koh Lipe is the perfect choice if you want an easy, half-day introduction to scuba diving while exploring the beautiful reefs of Tarutao National Marine Park.
