SSI Advanced Open Water Course – Koh Lipe

The SSI Advanced Adventurer is the exciting next step after the SSI Open Water course. It’s your chance to expand on what you already know and explore different areas of scuba diving — giving you a taste of which SSI Dive Specialities you might want to pursue, while working toward your SSI Advanced Open Water Certification.

The SSI Advanced Adventurer consists of 5 adventure dives, chosen from options including:

• Deep Dive
• Navigation Dive
• Perfect Buoyancy
• Waves, Tide and Currents
• Boat Diving
• Night Diving
• Search & Recovery
• Photo and Video
• Marine Ecology
• Fish Identification
• Coral Identification

Complete Your Theory Before You Arrive
Sign up on the MySSI app to complete the theory portion at home ahead of time, cutting down classroom hours and leaving more time in the water once you arrive on Koh Lipe.

Take Your Training Further
Each dive gives you a taste of something new. If one area really grabs you, you can enroll in a full SSI Speciality Course to go deeper. You can also combine your Advanced Adventurer Course with the Nitrox Speciality for 16,000 THB.

Becoming Advanced Open Water
Once you’ve completed 4 SSI Dive Specialities and logged 20 dives, you’ll earn full SSI Advanced Open Water status.

Short on Time?
You don’t have to do all 5 dives at once — you can complete a single SSI Adventure Dive at a time and build toward your Advanced Certification gradually. Each individual Adventure Dive costs 2,200 THB.
