Interested in doing a diving course but short on time? A SCUBA Diving license is less than 2 days away!
The PADI Scuba Diver Course is halfway between Discover Scuba Diving and the Full Open Water Course. It will give you a license to dive around the world to a maximum depth of 12metres under the supervision of an instructor/dive master. It is essentially more than half of your Open Water Course, with some theory, pool work and 2 Open Water dives to 12 metres.
The course starts with Dive Theory for the PADI SCUBA Diver course you will watch the first 3 chapters of the PADI Open Water Course. This takes around 3 hours to complete. We have a classroom also with free tea, coffee & water whilst you watch the TV. We also have portable DVD players available if you wish to watch the videos in your own room.
After you watch the video there is a knowledge review and quiz to complete for each chapter.
Once the dive theory is complete you will next start the diving skills in confined water off one of the beautiful beaches around Ko Lipe. There are about 15 dive skills to complete for the SCUBA Diver Course. These include a variety of skills including mask, buoyancy and emergency procedures.
For the SCUBA Diver Course you need to be able to float in the sea for 10 minutes.
Finally you can start diving. You will complete 2 dives to 12 metres on one of the many beautiful dive sites around Ko Lipe. On these dives you will practice the skills you learnt during your confined dives.
Upgrading later to a Full Open Water License from Scuba Diver requires another half day of theory, some pool work and 2 more Open Water dives to 18 metres in any PADI Dive School!
