Our Dive Centre

When we built our dive centre on Koh Lipe, Thailand, we made sure it would be open and welcoming so that we could offer our divers a comfortable place to relax in between dives.
Dive centreFor photographers we have a dedicated washbasin for camera equipment as well as a place to dry your housings.
After each dive, during debriefings and while discussing the creatures you met under water with your dive guide, refreshments such as water, tea and coffee are at your disposal.
Our dive centre offers the possibility of storing your valuables in our safe and a place to leave your personal belongings while you are diving. Shower and toilets are also available.

We really care for the environment and do whatever we can to protect Koh Lipe and its coral reefs:
Our speedboat’s engine is 4 stroke. These engines pollute less because they don’t need oil and use a lot less fuel than conventional engines. We compost and recycle our waste and we save a maximum of fresh water. We re-use shower water to flush our toilets and to water our plants. We use as little plastic materials as possible. Throughout the year we organize under water and beach clean-ups.
We consider it a point of honour to explain to our divers how to avoid damaging aquatic life.diveshop2

We offer dives using compressed air and Enriched Air Nitrox. On Koh Lipe we are the only dive centre offering the possibility of using Nitrox. We also have a few 15 L tanks for those divers who consume more air than average. Don’t hesitate to tell us if you think you may need one of these tanks when you sign up for diving with us.
Yves is our certified mechanic who will take care of our diving equipment maintenance. He will ensure the perfect working condition of all our equipment so that it remains as good as new.

speedboatOur dive centre not only distinguishes itself by offering Nitrox. We offer diving from a brand new speedboat rather than a Longtail or a modified fishing boat, thus giving you more flexibility for your dive trips. You do not need to spend your whole day on the water, but can choose between 1, 2, 3 or even 4 dives a day. Because time lost during transport is greatly reduced you will have much more time to spend on the beach or with your family.
Our speedboat carries Oxygen as well as a First Aid kit on board for increased safety.

On Koh Lipe we teach all PADI courses starting from Open Water Diver course up to DIvemaster course, as well as many specialities and SDI courses.

We are open 7 days a week from 8 AM until 9 PM. Please feel free to come to see us for more information.

We also offer eco-friendly accommodation, so if you're looking for a bungalow you may contact us to book a room.

From left to right: Martino, Max, Regis and Steve.

Martino Braghieri from Italy:
When your passion becomes your job, you can consider yourself a lucky person.
When your passion and your job become your life, you can consider yourself as a lucky happy person.
When you are all that and you work with lovely people in one amazing place, you are a lucky, happy, smiling person.
... Aw, yeah ... that must be me now :-)
And if you don't believe me, come to see by yourself !

A native of Canada, Max Jaskiw is a PADI OWSI since 2007. English is his primary language, but Max can hold conversation and instruct in French and Spanish as well.
Max started diving in 1999, in Playa del Carmen Mexico, while on extended vacation. He became hooked. One year later, he obtained his Advanced Open Water certification and, in 2007, made the jump to become a PADI instructor in Thailand.
Having worked as an instructor in various Caribbean and Asian countries, Max has joined Adang Sea Divers on Lipe for the first time this season.
Max is passionate about teaching and takes great pleasure in providing new divers the opportunity to discover the underwater world.

Regis Fina, from France: My first dive was very funny...
About 20 years ago, in Morgiou pier, near Marseille in France, a fisherman asked me if I could dive... And I course, beeing young and naive, I answered "yes"... He gave me a tank, a regulator, a mask and cleaning material to help him clean the hull of his boat !
After that, I had the opportunity to do some dives, real ones, with instructor friends.
It is only many years later, during a trip to Thailand, that I dediced to change my life and become a PADI instructor.
I have been working for 6 years in Koh Lipe, where I still enjoy diving as if it was my first day.
Come and share my passion at Adang Sea Divers :-)

Steve Clarke grew up on the south west coast of England and has always been involved with water sports of one variety or another.
After living in Thailand for a year at 18, and becoming a PADI Divemaster, travelling became a way of life for Steve and he hasn't settled anywhere since. He became an Instructor in Australia 5 years ago and has been moving from season to season in many varied locations including Greece, Costa Rica and Indonesia.
Now he has come back to Thailand at last for what promises to be a great High Season on Koh Lipe!

Jen

Captain Jen is originaly from Bulone. He has been working in Koh Lipe for the past 10 years, and he drives traditional longtail boats as well as our speedboat.
Jen knows Lipe and its surrounding underwater sites very well, because he worked as Chaolay fisherman for many years (fishermen dive to recover their fish traps).
If you speak to Jen in English, he will certainly understand but he is far too shy to be able to reply :-)
A baby girl just arrived to enlighten Jen's life !

NahAfter working for many years in various luxury hotels in Phuket, "super Nah" joined our team. She is in charge of cooking, cleaning the rooms, as well as preparing snacks for our divers.
But what Nah loves most is to express herself through decoration work. She can make wonderful foldings and high quality floral arrangements !
Without her, we would certainly be lost :-)
Nah est originaly from Lipe, she has 3 kids and a grand-daughter.

carotAnd our team would not be complete without Carot. As you can see, Carot is a wild animal. He guards our dive centre and makes sure indesirable animal stays out...
He has 2 passions in life: finding a cool place to sleep and eating. His name come from his color :-), carot is a common word in French, in English and even in Thaï, which is quite practical.
